- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Dry, cracked skin and heels
- Fungal nail infections

Also, we provide education on foot hygiene so that you are equipped with the knowledge to care for your feet at home.
Let us help you maintain mobility and independence so you can enjoy the life you deserve.
Toenail Maintenance
Here at Manly Cove Podiatry, we understand that carrying out simple tasks becomes difficult. And toenail cutting is one of them.
Your toenails will be trimmed using medical-grade equipment and your feet moisturised with an emollient to keep your skin healthy and prevent bacteria from entering in.
All equipment is sterilised to Australian Standards AS/NZ 4815:2001 to ensure cleanliness is maintained at all times.
We love seeing our regular patients come in for their routine service and we hope to be part of your routine as well.
Footwear Assessment
Did you know that slippers may not be the appropriate choice of footwear? Although they are a favourite choice of footwear, most slippers don’t have the support that your feet need. It is also known to be hazardous to slips and falls.
To help keep your feet adequately covered and supported, we examine the type of footwear you use. Whether it is for around the house or for going out to lunch with friends and family, you want footwear to suit your budget and lifestyle.
Orthotics
Orthotics are ideal for those suffering from chronic heel, arch, foot, shin, knee or lower back pain.
The purpose of orthotics is to support and/or gently realign your heel, arch, muscles, ligaments, tendons and bones in your feet. This enables those structures to work together which makes walking pain-free.
Orthotics can relieve certain conditions including:
- Shin pain
- Knee pain
- Lower back pain

What You Need To Remember
Trimming your nails regularly and keeping your feet moisturised can help reduce pressure areas and prevent infections. Wearing well-fitting shoes keeps your feet supported and prevents pressure-causing corns and calluses.
Lastly, orthotics help to cushion, support and realign your feet so you can be pain-free again.
