About Us

Manly Cove Podiatry has been caring for feet in Manly since 1994. We’re an independent, locally owned practice, not a corporate chain, and that means you get continuity of care from practitioners who actually know you.

Over more than 30 years we’ve become part of the Manly community. We see generations of families: children, parents, and grandparents. When people find a podiatrist they trust, they stick with us.

Our team treats the full range of foot and lower limb conditions, from everyday heel pain, plantar fasciitis and ingrown toenails through to complex biomechanical problems and sports injuries. Whether you’re a weekend runner, a tradesperson on your feet all day, managing a long-term health condition or just need some basic foot care, we’ll give you a clear diagnosis and a plan that actually works.

We’re located on East Esplanade in Manly, with HiCaps on-site for instant health fund claims.

Jeff Stewart

Owner & Principal Podiatrist

B.Pod La Trobe, M.A.Pod.A NSW.
Jeff is an approved provider under the Australian Government’s Chronic Wound Consumables Scheme (CWCS)

Jeff joined Manly Cove Podiatry in 2012, having graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2011, and has been the owner and principal podiatrist since 2018. He treats patients of all ages, from toddlers to the elderly, across the full scope of podiatric care.

Jeff’s clinical focus is biomechanics and sports injuries. He takes a structured, evidence-based approach to understanding how the foot and lower limb move, and uses that to get to the root cause of pain rather than just managing symptoms. He is particularly experienced in conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, shin splints, and running-related injuries.

As a runner himself, Jeff understands firsthand the frustration of being sidelined by injury. That personal experience informs how he works with his active patients: practically, with a focus on getting you back to what you love as quickly as possible.

Jeff and his wife Nicole have two sons, Zachary and Sebastian. Raising an active family has only deepened his appreciation for the role foot health plays at every stage of life.

Laura Walsh

Podiatrist

BSc (Honours) Podiatric Medicine
Laura Walsh graduated with a Bachelor honours degree of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Galway, Ireland in 2020 and brought her passion for podiatry to Australia in 2023. She is a member of the team at Manly Cove Podiatry, where she combines her broad interest in all aspects of podiatry with a friendly, patient-centred approach.

Laura has a keen interest in helping people achieve their best foot health, whether through injury prevention, running support, or general podiatric care. Her hands-on experience is diverse — including a few months working on a farm in the Australian outback during harvest and planting, which gave her a unique appreciation for the demands different lifestyles can place on the feet.

Outside the clinic, Laura enjoys running, coastal walks and staying active, bringing that personal understanding of movement and foot function to her practice. She is dedicated to making every patient feel supported, informed, and confident in their care.
